Main Justice Project - National Seminar on Tunisia
Paris, 8 - 9 September 2007
The seminar on the “Independence and impartiality of the Judiciary – Tunisia” is the last of the four national seminars programmed by the Justice Working Group under its 2006-2007project on “Promoting the “Independence and Impartiality of the Judiciary in the Euromed Region”. It follows similar events held in November 2006 in Casablanca, Morocco; January 2007 in Amman, Jordan; and March 2007 in Beirut, Lebanon.
The seminar on Tunisia is co-organised with the Tunisian members of the Justice Working Group, i.e. Comité pour le respect des libertés et des droits de l’Homme en Tunisie (CRLDHT) and Ligue tunisienne de défense des droits de l’Homme (LTDH), and with financial support of the European Union and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency; It will take place on 8 and 9 September 2007 in Paris.
